Georgian theater is an old and well-established art form that emerged along with European and Russian dramatic theater. It is liberally spiced with music and dance and elements drawn from regional idiosyncrasies of the Georgian people. The language is Georgian yet the dynamics of our productions make them accessible and enjoyable for the non-Georgian speaking audience as well. We include an English language synopsis and we introduced English super titles with our play “Sarke” that was performed in the Midtown International Theater Festival in July of 2011.
We are a growing community sharing a common interest in Georgian culture, immigrant life and the practice and enjoyment of the best of art and culture. If you would like to become involved or simply learn more, you are most welcome to visit, email, phone or write.
We can converse in English, Georgian and Russian.
